Why Block so Many?
May 12, 2010 11:00PM
I just picked up Peerblock today, and immediately needed to start finding a massive amount of Allow lists.

Why does Peerblock's built in P2P list block IPs from so many seemingly benign sources? Mainly wonderig about things like game servers for Blizzard, EA, and other MMO's and multiplayer games.

Malific peerblock is not responsible for the ip list. Who ever compiles the list is..we just use them.
I hope this helps.

Hey, welcome to the PeerBlock Forums.

If you can go here, and take a look [] you will find multiple lists that you can either add to your allow list or block list.

Some people actually have reasons to block game servers. That's why peerblock is so customizable. Many different users have different needs. What you're blocking I may find benign. The only one who can tailor set peerblock for your needs, is you.
It's not a newbie friendly, set it and forget it app. It's built for people with specific needs.
