Uncaught Exception disk I/O error - not responding to fix
August 29, 2011 03:05AM
I keep getting uncaught exception errors of the following type:

Build Number: 41011060518
File: .\logproc.cpp
Line: 521
Type: class sqlite3x::database_error
Message: disk I/O error

I've tried the fix at [forums.peerblock.com] and it stops the error for about a day, and then it starts coming up again. The history.db file isn't preposterously large -- about 45 MB. Any other fixes?

How much space is left on the hard drive? Has the drive been slow lately? Could be related to some bad sectors on the disk. In Control Panel, under Administrative Tools, Event Viewer then "System" check if you see any entries called "Bdisk". This is an early indication that the drive is starting to die and having issues with writing/reading.

This business is binary. You're either a one or a zero.
