Same thing here! ap2p activity after p2p client closed via http

I'm having similar problems --> after I close uTorrent I noticed that I continue to receive ap2p hits via http about ever 30min or whenever I open a browser.

IPs:
Performance Systems International-ed2k/ap2p:
on port 443 of:
38.113.165.86
38.113.165.83
38.113.165.80
38.113.165.77
38.113.165.74
38.113.165.71
38.113.165.68

Detected AP2P on Amazon EC2 cloud
174.129.87.18
184.72.178.28
184.73.232.43

Also occasionally I receive hits from CloudFlare, Tribal Fusion, and standard Microsoft IPs

-->Does this mean my IP provided by my ISP is being monitored or has been flagged to search for incriminating copyright infringements?
And what information can they get from me via http -- if lets say i'm engaging in good 'ol harmless browsing -- with uTorrent and peerblock closed?
I initially thought that IP probing sorta stopped after you closed uTorrent along with all the connections that were open...

Any recommendations?

My Configuration:
I'm usually very meticulous about protecting my p2p traffic -- I have uTorrent's encrypted outgoing protocol enabled -> with the port being randomized every time at uTorrent start. Of course I also use peerblock configured with default lists: P2P, Spyware, Advertising, Education all blocked + in addition I have iBlock lists: Primary Threats, DShield, and Hijacked also blocked.

I have an OpenVPN account that I use when transmitting sensitive data but don't always use...

I attached my peerblock log and conf file.

Thanks a ton in advance!

I'm for the block .

The others ones are from Amazon and they should not be blocked ,
actually we don't have them blocked .

Yeah if the full range isn't blocked yet -> I'm all for the block as well

That doesn't matter. Once you have given everyone your number, they have your number.

And there will still be some level of probing even if you have never run a uTorrent application since your IP was assigned to you.

I was getting lots of hits until I purchased a subscription of ipfilterx from here [p2pblocklist.net] . The ip ranges of some other filters are bloated with unneccessary IP ranges. Now the only hits I get are if I have http enabled and I am surfing the web. Peerblock will activly block any IP ranges like Government and MAFIA sites in your browser as well if HTTP is enabled.

I read about ipfilterx from the above link --> in the description there was a lot of terrible English and it seems like it's no longer freeware

seems a little sketch to me...

And my IPfilterx is working whit out any problems, english isn't problem me at all.
And it even blocks Finnish governoment, polices and army.
It has better ip ranges than other filters.
The whole world is not only english
ipfilterX does its job and that's all that really care.
