Continuous connection attempts from former University
September 20, 2012 11:23PM
I used to go to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, however I do not anymore. I'm running PeerBlock at my home and I randomly see multiple connections from "University of Tennessee" appear. When they do appear, it continuously shows up for a couple of minutes or more, adding a new entry on the log every time. As an example, at the moment I have 3 entries at 00:19:32, 00:19:34 and 00:19:38 all coming from the same IP address. I've looked up this address and as far as I can tell it's from users. Every time this happens the IP address is different. While I was there, they made us install something to access the internet and I'm positive it's still on my computer. I've searched the registry for UTK and my Windows folder for UTK and many variants but have come up with nothing. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this connection attempt?

If you would provide the log with the ip or ips that is/are being blocked it would help .
Thanks .
