For some reason I can't get peerblock to start up upon windows startup in windows 8.  please advise. thanks.

Just upgraded from Win 7 to 8 & have the same problem as user8899.
It appears the the program does not install into either the Program Files or the Program Files (x86), at least it does not show there.
Also, it does not appear under "uninstall a program".
The workaround I use, is to put a shortcut to the .exe file (in my downloads folder), on my desktop & run it from that.

I will be surprised if this problem will be fixed as the program has not been updated for ages!

EDIT: (next day)
Things went better after reinstalling Peerblock. It now appears in the Program Files & under "uninstall a program".
It will not start when Windows starts as the Start Folder is configured differently in Windows 8.

I will just manually start it, can't expect miracles. lol.
