Did you backup and delete the .p2b file(s)?
Did you delete the .list file(s)?
Did you disable the
    [ ] Update at startup
and
    [ ] Start with Windows
settings?

Yes on all acounts. I even went as far to delete the folder completly, empty the recycle bin and do a restart. Am I missing something?

I don't have a solution but I have more questions.

Is UAC enabled?

How is PeerBlock launched and by which user account?

How was PeerBlock installed?

Not sure, for windows or does peerblock have one also

How is PeerBlock launched and by which user account?
usually by the pined shortcut on thye task bar, an admin account

How was PeerBlock installed?
I now have PeerBlock 1.1 (r677) after I recently renewed for list updates.

Hi neptune89, it looks like PeerBlock is tripping over a null pointer somewhere during its startup routines. If you have any peerblock.log file in your C:\Program Files\PeerBlock directory, please upload it - that might be helpful. Even better would be if you could find a .dmp file corresponding to this crash - that should include exactly where in the code we're faulting.

Sorry you're experiencing this problem,
