"192.168.1.1 and 192.168.2.1" the first ip listed is a default router/modem ip if you block that then you essentially block your internet connection completely. Your router ip needs to be seen by windows/linux mac or what ever tin order to communicate through to complete a local area network connection. Once that 'Handshake' is done then identifying the Local Area Connection takes place by a port/ip scan on the routers dhcp list. Once that is complete an internet connection is then established once a DNS server can be reached through the router. So if you block 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.2.1 you are blocking your router and a computer connected to your router in your local area connection network or LAN network.

Enjoy
