Always HTTP Block Selectively?

I need to always block http on one address only. I don't need to block all http all the time, and that's a pain. Can that be done? Commandline, maybe?

Not with PeerBlock, but you could try blocking it with the hosts file. (If you don't know how to do that, read, for example, this: [www.guidingtech.com] )

If blocking TCP is close enough, manually create a block list containing the address in question.

I tried that, but I only have an IP number, not an address per se, I don't think it has one, so that didn't work.

Is there a way to make a blocklist just for always block http?
I actually found a firfox add on last night, that can do what I need, but I still want to know if there is a way, if not, maybe there should be. An all or nothing http blocking policy is pretty strict. What I love about peerblock (I use it as a firewall) is it's selectivity, being able to block sites I want to block makes me feel safer. Perhaps an option to always block http permanently, even when in "always allow" http as an option, but it would require a specific blocklist, right? I should probably move this to the features suggestions forum, if not.

If you need to block one only IP for any protocol and any port then do it using the firewall , assuming you're using a decent one .
