Is it possible you can add Peer Block blocklists in KIS 2010?

I'm not aware of Kaspersky including any support of blocklists like the ones we use...  However, PeerBlock should be able to run on your machine alongside their product, and work in conjunction with it by blocking connections at an IP level instead of a per-Application level.

One thing I have noticed is that sometimes when using Ares, my floppy drive sometimes starts up and then stops. I have PB on blocking everything and I have Internet security and anitvirus all running. I have scanned my machine for threats and there are none. If floppy drive sometimes starts up and then stops, is this someone controlling my machine? Has my security been compromised. Apart from the floppy drive nothing weird happens.

Any number of benign applications may scan mounted devices, especially on startup.
OTOH, some malware will do likewise.

But does this mean I may have been caught?
