Peerblock.exe - Application Error & Uncaught Exception

Hello, just reporting the following messages in sequence of when they appear..... when things start to crash. Thanks :-)

Peerblock.exe - application error
The application fails to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application

Heya gimmeabreak.

I'm sorry to hear you experiencing this problem. I don't recall similiar case happening before. As per this thread (link: [] ), could you please provide as much information as possible to try to help make it easier to figure this problem out for you?

This problem (Issue #212) happen because Windows is unable to handle some of the allocations required during list-cache generation.  Our current theory is that it's unable to allocate new contiguous chunks of memory from one of the special kernel memory-pools (the "nonpaged pool").  This pool is of a fixed size, so even if you have many many gigabytes of memory it will only be a small amount of memory there.  Some drivers/games/etc. can leak memory in this pool, or else "fragment" it with small allocations, such that when we request a large contiguous block Windows is unable to provide it.

Unfortunately it's very difficult to troubleshoot this problem, especially since none of us devs have been able to reproduce it on our machines.
