Auto-reread of local file?
December 19, 2010 03:13PM
Hey guys,
Didn't see this mentioned in the FAQ or online help -

I have a local file that's updated by some scripts. Does, and how can I be sure if it is, PeerBlock rereading and updating it's lists as soon as I touch (change) the file, instead of when I launch or manually update the lists?

Thanks,
-- Mike.

There's no auto reread of the cache but you may be able to do it programatically in the scripts that you use

UINT msg=RegisterWindowMessage(_T("PeerBlockLoadLists"));
SendMessage(HWND_BROADCAST, msg, 0, 0);

Note: depending on your lists, the PB action initiated may take MANY seconds to complete.
