Allow communications on a single port
February 08, 2011 12:27PM
Hello, I'm using PeerBlock 1.1 and it's blocking all ports, logical I guess, but I need to unblock a port so any IP can access it (Skype).
I've checked PeerBlock settings and nothing about unblocking ports, just unblocking IPs.
Is there a way to unblock a port? Is this feature going to be added if not?

There feature has already been started on so you may need to compile your own version of PeerBlock.

Or you can wait for the next beta update and hopefully it should include it.

I am also interested in allowing a single port to have communication. Specifically, I have an internal DNS server that communicates to other DNS servers on UDP port 53. Many of those DNS servers are on block lists. I would like to keep them blocked from all traffic except UDP port 53. So far, I love the program and will keep my eye out for an update. Coders, keep up the good work.
