It is very annoying to discover that the last time I temporarily disabled PeerBlock to quick update or access something that it wasn't so temporary, and that I had accidentally left it disabled.

I suggest adding a Temporary Disable button (preferably separate from the existing Disable button) that will only disable PeerBlock for a user-settable period of time (e.g., 1-999 seconds). The existing Disable button will turn into the Enable button, and clicking the Temporary Disable button again will also enable PeerBlock. While the temporary disable is counting down, the remaining number of seconds could be displayed on the button as occurs on the button that dismisses the blocklist update dialog. Actually, you could probably do all of this on the same Disable/Enable button, making it some kind of a three-state button.

There is currently an allow http for 15/60 minutes if that does what you want.

You may need to use the beta version to get that functionality though.
