List Manager: Add

Clicking on List Manager displays existing lists and shows among others, an Add button for extra lists to be added (from iblocklist.com or elsewhere...). If you click Add and and select a list and then press OK, you are back in List Manager - but no OK/Apply button there to confirm the selection you just made. Just the window right top corner standard [x] for close window. Confusing for the newbie, consider adding an OK/Apply button confirming the action? Closing the window does this but it's not intuitive, normally that means exit only /backstep only without change.

Subordinate point, not question: if you go to the Add box and choose an iblocklist.com address, for many such lists PeerBlock prompts you to use what it terms a friendly-name url. This I found confusing. Does it mean that PeerBlock is changing the actual iblocklist.com's lists' url , say, like tinyurl.com does? If it does, the fear is, does PeerBlock then risk losing the source url if THAT is modified in future by iblocklist.com and so automatic or manual updating then fails? When you add a list, there is a name label to fill in so why should the form of the url be relevant for ease of indentification purposes if you filled in the label?

Any alterations ( adding/removing lists ) is instant from my understanding.

PeerBlock is only converting the URL's into more "friendly ones" and also removes duplicates, to prevent issues.

" bluetack.co.uk/config/ads-trackers-and-bad-pr0n.gz "

into

" list.iblocklist.com/lists/bluetack/ads-trackers-and-bad-pr0n "

The reason for this is iblocklists are more stable, can handle more traffic, just better all around.
