Basic "WTF is happening here" question

Hello folks, Been using PB for a year and am very happy with it, thank you
everyone for doing what you do.

My question is this:
Even before I open a browser after turning on my PC, PB is blocking communications from Google, Globix, and sometimes my ISP which is Plusnet, and bloody Akamai route, etc.

But what is happening here? What information is being actually transferred? (or not if PB is running), are the communications actually reporting info? and if so, from where if no programs are running?

And even with a browser open, and PB blocks something unrelated what info is actully being shared? Is it info on what tabs I have open? Is it my browser history? Or is it even what other programs are running in the background?

Thank you

You have more information than we do at this point. The google stuff is probably trying to check for software updates
and the ISP-related traffic may be innocent and just keeping your connection working properly.

If you want details you're going to have to post some logs exported from PB's History window.
