Hi to all from Melbourne Au. I used Peer Guardian for some time under Vista, it was very buggy but worked with a bit of effort. PeerBlock by contrast works very well, now under Win7.

I will start passing the link around and hope that more people use it.

As a side issue for net users around the world Australia is it seems could soon to get net censorship by way of site filtering at ISP level. Although I have no time for child porn and terrorist sites etc. I don't think censorship is the way to go and should be resisted. I am quite capable of filtering out unwanted sites with PG for example and don't need some politically driven government bureaucrat telling me what to see. The proposed filtering has been likened to ones China and North Korea. I cannot believe that this is happening in one of the most free and liberal countries in the world, watch out the rest of the world you could be next.

ISP's greed is the biggest problem. They wa nt their cake and they want to eat it too! I'm also new here nice to meet you.

Hi there all. I am new here and to peer block. So far I like the way it works and the ease in use. I am a 54 year old man and have been using computers now for more the 30 years. I live in the US and love to use computers.

Welcome to the forums saxon,paranoid2010, & trkstop. I think you will find PeerBlock to be a very useful tool.
