P2P safety in Germany - additional lists?
December 29, 2009 04:12PM
Hi, I just installed PB and I was asking myself if the included P2P list will also block German companies (if there are any) who are spying on P2P users?

I also don't find a separate list for German (or other localized) p2p on iblocklist.com, so I guess these addresses are included in the normal p2p list? Or aren't they?

Apart from that I have to say I really like PB so far, it's one of only a few real 64bit apps running on my machine now - good work!

your best bet would be to goto iblocklist.com and select the list in question and below that there is a comment area and ask there these questions, a guy named fakhir runs iblocklist.com and will be able to answer in detail.

Hi Heiko,

The P2P list contains anti-p2p organisations world 'round, so you should not need any other lists.

As to a 'per country' list, they block the ENTIRE country (not just the 'bad guys')... i don't think you'll want a list to block your own country winking smiley

If this is what you want to do (i highly doubt it though), here is a link to a germany list: [iblocklist.com]

As Brandonjm8 said, head over to [iblocklist.com] for more lists.

Cheers!
