My computer is constantly blocking this >>64.18.30.8<< IP. I've checked it all through whois and its some random Internet security company (Baltimore Technologies). I've found the IP's admins phone numbers, locations and Photographs (dumb @#$%&) but I'm still unsure as to why they are so interested in my computer. Should I contact them personally or does anyone have a reasonable explanation (save me the embarrassment) as to why they would be constantly trying to connect to my computer? I don't download movies/games and I don't use the Internet for porn (magazine subscription winking smiley ).

Heya rusty209.

As long as PeerBlock is blocking, I highly recommend that you don't attempt to contact them. It's better to NOT reveal yourself to them, assuming you're not using any sort of disposable phones/emails to contact.

Most likely reason is that they are just trying to scan through as many computers as possible collecting information.

Thanks for the fast help guys. I'll make sure I don't contact [www.linkedin.com] unless I'm using an anon proxy or clean Phone.
